Bandai Namco Games' North American branch began streaming the launch trailer for its Digimon All-Star Rumble PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game on Tuesday.
The game was released in North America on Tuesday and priced at US$39.99. The European release will follow on November 14.
Prope (Digimon Adventure for PSP) is developing the party-arena multiplayer game, which will feature the franchise's famous Digimon who are able to "digivolve" into their respective advanced forms. The 12 "base" Digimon include Agumon, Biyomon, Dorulumon, Gabumon, Gatomon, Shoutmon, Tentomon, and Veemon. 32 Digimon forms are available for up to four players to battle in a Digimon Evolution Tournament with 10 battle arenas.
Netflix began streaming Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 on its instant streaming catalog in 2013. The most recent series, Digimon Fusion, previously aired on Nickelodeon in 2013 and switched to The CW Network in January. The CW Network ended its animated block in September. Crunchyroll streamed the first series and simulcast the second series as it aired in Japan.
A new Digimon Adventure anime is currently in the works.
