Akiyuki Simbo Releases Book Chronicling His Works at SHAFT

Acclaimed animation director Akiyuki Simbo (pronounced 'Shinbo') released a book last Saturday chronicling the works he participated in at SHAFT, starting from Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase- in 2004. The "Akiyuki Simbo x Chronicle" book will include key animation, storyboards, and other art materials, as well as interviews and discussions with staff and creators.
The titles that will be covered in the book are listed below:

In addition, the book will include a discussion between Simbo and manga artist Chika Umino (March comes in like a lion), as well as a discussion between SHAFT president Mitsutoshi Kubota, Aniplex producer Atsuhiro Iwakami, and Simbo. The interviews are conducted by the book's publisher Dotcom. The book costs 4,620 yen (US$42) in print.
