WOTA London Music Evening on November 24

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Free event starts at 8 p.m. at Fluid Bar near Barbican.

The club WOTA London's next event is on Saturday November 24 at the Fluid Bar on Charterhouse Street, near Barbican and Farringdon tube stations (scroll down the facebook page for a map and directions).

The event runs from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. and will feature live DJs, anime songs, doujin music, Touhou, video game music, JPop, JRock, and KPop. Cosplayers are encouraged.

The entry is free, but restricted to over-18s.

"Wota" (ヲタ - pronounced ota) is a shortened version of the Japanese word "otaku," and refers to idol-otaku. It is also often used in conjunction with a particular area of interest, for example anime fans are referred to as "anime-wota."
