Kenshin, FMA Sketches Auctioned for Quake Fund

posted on by Daryl Bunao
Auctions for creator Nobuhiro Watsuki, designer Hiroki Kanno's art end Saturday

Organizers of the Belgium anime convention Made in Asia are auctioning six sketches of characters from Rurouni Kenshin and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which were illustrated and autographed by manga creator Nobuhiro Watsuki and character designer Hiroki Kanno, respectively. All six auctions end on Saturday. (The convention website's countdown timer may display incorrectly for people outside of Central European Time.)

The auctions are open to everyone around the world and all of the money collected will be donated to the Belgium Red Cross to help aid relief efforts responding to last month's Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.

Both Watsuki and Kanno attended the Made In Asia convention in Brussels from March 18-19, one week after the earthquake in Japan.
