Interesting how Yumi is a magical girl who doesn't have the best family situation. From my experience, almost every magical girl anime I've seen shows the main character having a pretty ideal home life (aside from Usagi/Sailor Moon's parents often getting on her case about her grades, but Usagi tends to bring that on herself).

I remember watching half of this when it was being streamed by some other site, but I found a lot of it to be really cheesy, and the occasional panty shot from Yumi, an underage girl, didn't help much, along with her being nude at the end of episode 1. But I should probably rewatch it again so I can make a more fair judgment on it.

Thanks for the review. This sounds weirdly interesting.
(Man, I agree with how much we miss those old times.)

When you do streaming reviews, can you post where it's streaming? Seems like useful information.
It's not on Crunchyroll, anyway.

Looks like it's on Retrocrush.

In regards to Sailor Moon, the opposite is true. Apart from Usagi, the main characters all come from pretty crummy situations with their parent(s) either being dead, absent or, in the case of Hotaru, the only remaining parent she had attempted to manipulate her into destroying the world.
